American Green the New American Dream: Changing a Paradigm of Greed!

"Don't be stuck on worrying about petrodollars, read the writing on the wall!" Embracing Green and the Net Zero Sustainable Lifestyle Can Give You More in Seven Sustainability Steps!

Step 1: Do Not Rent! Buy your land and build or but a fixer upper or join a cooperative to jointly own a larger property together!

While there are several proven strategies to reduce a home’s energy loaded enable the most cost-effective and efficient renewable resource (such as residential solar panels or wind turbines), the process really begins with land selection and planning orientation impacts a building’s energy use. Simply, the home’s south-facing elevation is exposed to the path of the sun year-round, allowing the most daylight to the home’s interior to reduce the need for lighting and, in cooler times and climes, a measure of solar gain to offset the energy consumed for mechanical heating.

Conversely, west-facing elevations get the most intense solar exposure, especially in the summer. They should be designed to minimize heat gain, ideally with occasional-use rooms that do not need windows.

Step 2 Downsize: Consumerism is a pathway to economic waste and shorter stressful lives! Downsizing to a smaller home could not only shrink your mortgage payments, but also help you lower your peripheral housing costs. These include property taxes, insurance, maintenance and repairs. Instead of more house focus on more land for growth potential over time. Unlike previous generations that were largely defined by their material possessions, Gen Z and Millennials prioritize experiences over tangible belongings. This shift has driven the rise of sectors such as travel, dining, and entertainment. Brand Independence: Unlike previous generations, Gen Z is less brand-loyal. They prefer to explore various brands and find the best deal. Sometimes having less clutter is like having more room for things that matter.

Step 3 Solar and/or wind with battery storage: Gen Z tends to be well-informed. They research and compare options before making purchasing decisions. A. Lithium-Ion Battery Technology Lithium iron phosphate batteries are becoming an industry storage standard because of improved longevity and safety compared to previous generation lithium cobalt batteries. The cost of home battery storage systems can vary significantly based on factors such as capacity, brand, and installation. The approximate price ranges for lithium-ion types of home battery storage technologies range from $1000 to $4000. One of the best things about these batteries is the fact that, unlike other batteries, lithium-ion batteries require very little, if any, maintenance. They are light and quick charging.

Step 4 Atmospheric Water Generation and Storage:

Moses West is the founder of Atmospheric Water Generator Contracting LLC. He invented an atmospheric water generator (AWG) that extracts moisture from the air, condenses it, and turns it into clean drinking water. As the water crisis becomes more real, with droughts, pollution, depleted snow-packs and other issues shortening our safe fresh water supplies, there is one technology that you'll want to boost your water IQ with - atmospheric water generation. While it sounds like something for a distant, drastically different future, there are actually residential water generators on the market today. Scientists and organizations like Boston's non-profit Cryptic Wings a Lupus support organization believe that bacteria in our water is the cause for rises in diseases like Lupus.

Modern AWG units don't use a lot of energy to generate water, and some are even fully solar powered, or can easily be run on your solar power system.

Still, for home residential water use, AWG wattage ranks anywhere from 300 watts to 1200 watts depending on the size of the device and its generation capacity. In other words, they rank on the scale of a PC desktop computer system. the average US water bill is 60 to 100 dollars a month. Hawaii has the highest water bill at $150 dollars a month, West Virginia has the second highest average monthly bill at $91.

Step 5 Get an Electric Vehicle:

The electric revolution is here especially In Europe, Accenture research posits that battery powered electric vehicles (BEVs) will account for 26 percent of new-car sales by 2025. By 2030, this could rise to 60 percent. Globally, the proportion of BEV sales is set to grow to 39 percent over the same timeframe. Smart money is divesting from fossil fuels with the exception of airfare which will drop by 30 percent as fuel prices become more competitive as African markets access the global market. Because of increased availability and competitive pricing global commercial jet fuel consumption is expected to double from 13 quadrillion British thermal units in 2018 to 29 quadrillion by 2050.

Step 6 Divest from fossil fuels and products like plastics made by fossil fuels:

Chemicals like phthalates and estrogens that are known as endocrine disrupting chemicals are causing global fertility problems coupling that with the effects of global warming and extreme climate change also adds to populations unable to sustain themselves. Chemicals added to plastics are absorbed by human bodies. Some of these compounds have been found to alter hormones or have other potential human health effects. Plastic debris, laced with chemicals and often ingested by marine animals, can injure or poison the ecosystem.

Step 7 Eat to Live, and Live Clean! Change your diet to avoid ALL processed foods and high sugar content. Fast one day a week and set up a regularly body cleanse schedule. Most diseases that plague mankind are caused by poor nutrition and lack of good hygiene.

The Eat to Live diet recommends limiting or avoiding:

  • Processed foods, such as snack foods, sugary drinks, and desserts

  • Animal products, such as red meat, processed meats, and high-fat dairy products

  • Avoid Added sugars and sweeteners

  • Buy non-GMO (Genetically modified or irradiated) foods and foods that support the gut biome without causing inflammation.

  • Organic raw foods are better than chemically processed foods based on their bioelectricity.
