Gen Z Globally opt to Wait for Climate Change to Wake or Bake the Skeptics!

Global youth movements from China, Africa, Central America, and the USA are allowing the current leadership to make their own mistakes and are strategizing on how to make positive changes once the older generations are no longer in power!

While professing to advocate for "sound science," organizations such as the Heartland Institute have consistently disseminated misinformation about climate science, including targeted assaults on climate scientists. Public backlash compelled the Heartland Institute to remove a contentious billboard that equated advocates of global warming facts with Unabomber Ted Kaczynski.

Over time, the United States has been the largest contributor of heat-trapping pollution, making it the main catalyst of global climate change. Despite decades of ongoing national discussions on how to tackle this issue, advancements towards a resolution have been sluggish. Efforts by presidents or Congress to reduce emissions and prevent the worst impacts of climate change have consistently faced obstacles. Ironically, those most at risk are the individuals who resist taking action to address the situation, which will ultimately accelerate their own demise and diminish their economic influence due to their lack of action.

The irrefutable signs of a warming planet have made outright denial of climate change increasingly rare. Instead, a tactic known as "climate delayism" has surfaced, designed to hinder climate action. Advocates for fossil fuels are effectively disseminating false information about renewable energy sources like wind and solar to impede progress. This approach, however, comes with serious consequences, such as declining birth rates and heightened risks for the elderly, who are particularly vulnerable. Believing that Elon Musk will sell tickets to Mars, or that "Clean Coal" and nuclear power are the ultimate solutions to our energy challenges is a clear indication of a lack of understanding of the issue.

Scientists report that climate change denial has shifted focus to the causes and effects of warming, or strategies to address it, rather than outright denying its existence. Numerous social media posts over the past year, reaching hundreds of thousands, claim that a "Grand Solar Minimum" will naturally lower temperatures without human intervention. However, this contradicts the evidence. A grand solar minimum is indeed a real event where the Sun emits less energy as part of its natural cycle. Populations lacking natural defenses against high UV radiation and extreme heat, such as Eumelanin, are experiencing an accelerated demographic decline worldwide. This trend was more easily concealed a decade ago than it is now.

We know recent temperature rises weren't caused by the changes in the Sun's natural cycle because the layer of atmosphere nearest the earth is warming, while the layer of atmosphere closest to the Sun - the stratosphere - is cooling. Heat which would normally be released into the stratosphere is being trapped by greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide from people burning fuel. As of 2024, (with the exception of nations in Sub-Saharan Africa) population size has peaked in 65 countries and areas, including China, Germany, Japan, Australia, Italy Canada, and the Russian Federation, and the total population of this group is projected to decline by another 14 per cent before 2050. The average age of the population of the world is also increasing.

Fertility rates around the world are dropping quicker than expected, putting a majority of the "Western" world on track to see a population decline in real time. Fertility rates are lowest in Europe, which has what the U.N. calls an "ultra-low" fertility rate: fewer than 1.4 live births per woman. Were it not for immigration, the United States would also be facing population declines — it’s one of about 50 places projected to be able to keep growing due to immigration gains. The U.S. is projected to grow from 345 million in 2024 to 421 million by the end of the century. A significant change will be in the doubling of the Black population due to the large influx of North Africans, Afro Hispanics, Afro Latina and Afro Asians!

According to a recent Pew Research Center study, the Black population in the United States has increased by 15 million over the past two decades. The period from 2004 to 2024 saw a 34% growth, raising the Black population to nearly 50 million (Note the US Census Bureau states this number could be undercounted by as much as 25% making the actual count closer to 63 million. This study, which utilized data from the Census Bureau's American Community Survey, attributes the significant increase to several factors: a higher birth rate among Black women aged 15 to 44, an uptick in interracial marriages, individuals of mixed race identifying as Black, such as Afro-Latinos and Afro-Asians, and increased immigration from African and Caribbean countries affected by climate change.
