What The Fossil fuel Industry Doesn't Want You To Know?

Fossil fuels cause climate change which causes extreme destructive weather. 2023 saw record rainfall causing deadly flooding in Europe and China and record temperatures endured across Asia.

We understand today that humanity's use of fossil fuels is severely damaging our environment. Fossil fuels cause local pollution where they are produced and used, and their ongoing use is causing lasting harm to the climate of our entire planet. Nonetheless, meaningfully changing our ways has been very difficult. What will replace oil in the future? Oil will be replaced by alternative energy resources, such as solar energy, wind energy, tidal energy and nuclear and hydroelectric plants. As citizens around the world increasingly favor serious policy action to fight climate change, the fossil fuel industry is undermining democratic principles to stem the tide of climate action—spreading misinformation and obstructing elected governments’ climate efforts, promoting anti-democratic movements and candidates, and even undermining democratic rights.

Oil and gas production will be increased by 50% by 2030! Fossil fuel companies expect global energy demand to increase 47% in the next 30 years, driven by population and economic growth, particularly in developing Asian countries. This will require increased oil and natural gas production, absent technological breakthroughs or significant policy changes that support green and renewable energy with money. Liquid fuel will make up 28% of global energy demand by 2050, compared with renewables at 27%. This assumes a 36% increase in liquid fuel demand and a 165% increase by renewables from 2020 levels. Simply by taking away oil and gas subsidies billions could be used to support renewable energy and improve the global quality of life. In fact we could probably save life on the planet!]
